About the event

This practical 2‑hour workshop focuses on developing confidence and skill in ocean paddling. Paddlers will learn techniques, drills, and strategies to paddle smarter in waves and open‑water conditions, including how to read the ocean, feel the water, and understand the influence of wind, swell, tides, and currents on OC1 / OC2 / V1. Suitable for paddlers wanting to improve their ocean awareness and performance, this practical session helps build safer, more effective paddling in dynamic conditions while strengthening timing, balance, connection, and overall body awareness.


All paddlers must be competent swimmers, have lifejackets, bailers and spare paddles when attending these workshops. 


Participants will have the unique opportunity to learn from the esteemed Vesna Radonich, an 8-time World Women’s Outrigger Champion and an internationally recognised paddling coach.
