OC6 OCEAN WAVES Workshop Kahnawake

This practical 2‑hour workshop focuses on developing confidence and skill in ocean paddling. Paddlers will learn techniques, drills, and strategies to paddle smarter in waves and open‑water conditions, including how to read the ocean, feel the water, and understand the influence of wind, swell, tides, and currents. Suitable for paddlers wanting to improve their ocean awareness and performance, this practical session helps build safer, more effective paddling in dynamic conditions while strengthening timing, balance, connection, and overall body awareness.

It is crucial for all paddlers attending these workshops to possess a solid swimming competency, as safety is paramount. Participants are required to bring essential safety equipment, including lifejackets, bailers, and spare paddles.
